Our trainings pinpoint common struggles among women in our industry.

Topics like marketing techniques, tax preparations, and legal protection can bring clarity to your brand strategies.

Learning about professional communication techniques, healthy personal boundaries, and relationships with local wedding vendors may also help build your confidence as a business owner.

In a career that can leave you feeling isolated, it’s so integral to build genuine connections with like-minded women.

Knowing that others are dealing with the same insecurities and frustrations as you are can be freeing in itself.

But what I can’t wait for you to feel is the confidence and security of a well-prepared business woman!

You deserve it.

"Before signing up for SBS I felt alone and isolated. I was eager to be part of a positive community, to learn more of my trade, ideas for leveling up my approach and presenting myself with more professionalism.

The Secrets of a Bridal Seamstress Membership exceeded my hopes and needs!"

- KATHY F., FITTED STICHES LLC

When I first started my own bridal alterations business, Sweet Francis Sewing Co, I felt super insecure in my business practices.

I knew the kind of boutique I wanted to run, but felt overwhelmed with the professional details.

It’s actually quite embarrassing to think back on how I ran my business in what I like to call my ‘portfolio years’!

(Can you relate?)

I knew that if I were to actually:

1. Make money with this endeavor and

2. Enjoy it

I’d need to step up my game!

I spent hours reading, researching, and hiring out help to curate a modern, professional alterations studio that attracted my dream clients.

I went from a DIY, overwhelmed, side-hustling sewist, to owning my dream bridal alterations boutique that has exceeded every expectation, and I am so thrilled to show you how you can too!

My members have said, they never thought they would overcome the overwhelm to actually enjoy the life they built for themselves. Does that sound like you?

The exciting news is, running your own bridal sewing business doesn’t need to feel like a constant flurry of hustling and ‘catching up’. Imagine instead if you had simple systems for communicating with brides (that did not include texts or DMs!), a clear pre-booking template, fresh marketing strategies, and organized work days and off days?

You’ve worked so hard to get your business off the ground, and now it’s time to settle into a sustainable groove so you can actually enjoy this beautiful dream come true!

Investing in our educational membership can provide tools to keep your business current, as well as structure for a balanced life as a business owner.

We can’t wait to have you!

Let’s Get to Know Each Other!

I’ve become an accidental crazy chicken lady this past year.

Shortly after we moved into our new home this spring, I picked up 5 baby chicks, and it was all over after that!

I’m a smitten chicken lady and can seriously spend an entire afternoon watching my chickens scratch around my backyard!

Beef stroganoff is the only meal I can cook with confidence.

Yeah, my cooking skills are lacking, but thankfully my husband picks up the slack in the kitchen!

I do have a personal goal to master a recipe other than stroganoff tho before I’m too old. Any recommendations for cookbooks that aren’t intimidating? Send them my way!

I love love
love to read!

One of my absolute favorite books is A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

When I named my business, Sweet Francis Sewing Co, I named it after Francie Nolan, the sweet heroine of the classic story.

(But here’s the fun twist- the spelling is how my dad spells his middle name!)

Knowledge leads to confidence, and confidence leads to actually delighting in our work. Once I felt confident in my daily habits and practices, it was a game changer.

you should experience this freedom and confidence too!
